About the Ohio Carpenters Health & Welfare fund  

The Ohio Carpenters Health and Welfare Fund was established on July 26, 1967 to provide for participants and their beneficiaries, health and welfare benefits which may include but not by way of limitations: hospital, clinical, health, and medical care, treatment, examinations, tests and diagnosis, compensation for losses attributable to sickness or injury, compensation to estates or named beneficiaries in the event of death, continuation of benefits during temporary unemployment and during retirement, and the granting of benefits to or for dependent wives, dependent husbands, and dependent children.

This Trust is created for the benefit of Employees who work within the jurisdiction of the Union, who come within the scope of and meet the requirements of the regulations established by the Trustees.

The Fund is administered by ten (10) Board Members, who act as Union and Employer Trustees.
